Kaprun is located high in the Austrian Alps, in the Pinzgau region at the foot of the famous Kitzsteinhorn glacier. The town is conveniently reached from Salzburg. If flying, Salzburg Airport is about 80 km away, and is connected via shuttle, train, car, or taxi. If driving, you can access the area via the B-311 motorway.
