Phnom Penh is the capital and largest city of Cambodia. This being so, the country’s economy is booming here. The city was once knows as the “Pearl of Asia”, as it was one of the French-built cities after the French colonization of Cambodia took place. Home to approximately two million Cambodians, the history can be felt widely through its people and their stories of how the country came to be after war, suffering, and rebuilding. Showing appreciation and practicing these prayers deeply shows the spiritual connections of the small country’s people.
