Medulin - Most Popular Destination of the Riviera in Croatia
Location: City on the Istria Peninsula in Croatia
Medulin lies on the Adriatic Coast in the Pula district of the Croatian county of Istria. You can arrive in town by bus from downtown Pula, or you can drive yourself using the coastal road to town or the highway, exiting Premantura/Liznjan/Medulin. The closest airport to this beach city is Pula. There are also several bicycle routs connecting you with Southern Istria and beyond.

The local church, St. Agnes, built in 1893, is well known for its two 33 meter high belfries, which rise above the town and can be seen from many locations. You can often find chamber music concerts, including by leading Croatian musicians, in this and other local churches during the summer months. There are also remnants of the Roman settlements, including a villa built in the 4th century on the Vizula Peninsula. You can walk t through the remains to experience how the Romans lived and enjoy beautiful objects, mosaics, and frescoes.

You can walk and bike through the cape and see the natural beauty up close. The many beaches provide the perfect opportunity for a variety of water sports, including sailing, windsurfing, diving, and swimming.
