What activities are available to me outside of work hours in Coventry?

For a bit of evening theatre, see what's on at the historic Albany Theatre, which opened in 1935 and was recently restored. Shopping might be of interest in the Fargo Village area, as it offers a number of independent retailers, cafés and artist workshops. For some time outdoors, head to Caludon Castle Park, home to 14th century castle ruins set on beautiful grounds. For those staying in the city centre, a visit to Lady Herbert's Gardens is a lovely way to get outside right around the remains of the Coventry city walls. The city is also host to the annual Coventry Jazz Festival, held at the end of November.

What can Coventry offer me in the way of business options and facilities?

The Belgrade Theatre Coventry hosts a range of event and conferencing facilities with all the necessary modern technology, with its main stage auditorium holding 850 people and several smaller rooms to suit all types and sizes of meetings. Where should I go to see the best of the city from my hotel in Coventry?

Visit the new Coventry Cathedral, which opened in 1962, right next to the ruins of the original St. Michael’s Cathedral, which was mostly destroyed during World War II. The outer walls and spire of the original 14 century church can still be viewed, however. Of interest to visit is the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum, a cultural museum, and the Coventry Transport Museum. The latter is home to the biggest collection of British-made vehicles in the world. The Warwick Arts Centre, located on the campus at the University of Warwick, offers a theatre, concert hall, cinema and an art gallery with many events held on a regular basis.
