Bad Ems – A premium resort destination
Location: Central Germany along the river Lahn
Located in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany and found on the banks of the Lahn river, Bad Ems is a town that is easily accessed by plane, train, boat or car. The airports of Cologne/Bonn and Frankfurt are both convenient options and the town centre is served by two train stations, main station and station west. If driving, you can reach the town via the A61 motorway and boats arrive via the river Lahn.

Business in the area is almost entirely linked to the town’s popularity as a spa location and you will find numerous businesses in the form of spas, hotels, and restaurants that cater to the many tourists. You will find that the town has a vibrant cultural scene with theatres, museums, and concert halls to attend. The Spa Theatre is a popular venue and often has musical performances. During your visit you must also be sure to visit the casino (Germany’s oldest) and take a look at the Roman Limes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
