This historic spa town is located in the south of North Rhine Westphalia. It is situated south of Cologne and west of Coblenz affording it easy access to other parts of Germany. The River Erft runs right through the heart of the old town. The river flows through the foothills of the Eifel mountain range and eventually meets the Lower Rhine. There are 10 different bridges in the town to admire and choose from to cross the river.
