Close to the city of Hanover, Paderborn is located in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Its iconic cathedral sits alongside a vast network of natural springs that feed into the River Pader, whilst it is a great place to see traditional German architecture, especially its striking three-peaked town hall. Another famed institution here is the university, which has a long-standing history and is noted for excellence in computer science and management.
