Ruhpolding, the fabulous resort village in Upper Bavaria, is a gorgeous and romantic village surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Location: In the Bavarian Alps of Germany

The town is located in the Chiemgau region of the Alps in Bavaria, Germany. Although you may feel miles away from home here, the area is easy to reach. Visitors coming by air can use either Salzburg Airport (40 km) or Munich Airport (140 km), and from there arrive by car, bus or train. If traveling by car, you will find the city centre via the A8 motorway.

Several museums, including the Heritage Museum and the Woodcutters Museum, offer insight into the traditions of Ruhpolding.
