Sinsheim in the district of Baden is quickly growing. The Rhein-Neckar-Arena along with the Sinsheim Auto & Technik Museum brings more than a million visitors each year to this south-western German city. The Auto and Technic Museum is a major attraction here, and visitors will be surprised to find a fleet of vintage cars and retired planes, including the famed Concorde airliner. Additionally, Sinsheim is a place where one can enjoy various theatrical performances and take part in several cultural festivals. Also an outdoors city, it is a place for nature lovers and athletes to feel at home. Golf courses and plenty of outdoor trails, perfect for hiking and mountain biking, await you at the doorstep.

Location: In the south-west district of Baden

Located just 120 km from the metropolis of Frankfurt, Sinsheim can be accessed in several ways. If driving, take the A6 motorway, which will lead you directly to the centre. There is a train station that serves the city and the airports of Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Baden Airpark, which are all located within about an hour’s drive. Both Heidelberg and Heilbronn are about 30 minutes by car from here.

Business: A service industry economy with a great centre

The service industry is the main business here and makes up a large amount of the local economy. The Messe Sinsheim is the major business and conference centre, and is the largest arena for trade fairs in the region. It hosts many national and international events each year. Additionally, the town hall is a large business venue located in the centre.

Culture: Excellent festivals and cultural celebrations!

There are a number of festivals and cultural events that take place here and are a joy to witness! The Sinsheim Fohlenmarkt (Foal Market) is the largest folk festival in the area and, like in many German cities, there is a fabulous Christmas market to explore during the holiday season. You’ll also find plenty of opportunities to see local music, concert, and theatre performances throughout the year.

The active-minded individual will have no shortage of ways to keep busy here! Sinsheim is home to a golf course and several spa and fitness facilities as well as an excellent place to enjoy camping and the outdoors. The areas surrounding the centre are perfect for hiking, and there are a few public swimming pools to help you cool off during the warmer months!
